There is lot of options for you to create this type of website, lot of peoples create their flash based site to showcase their previous work and others use their blog or regular website(non-Flash).

Radioarbali.com is a radio station called Radio Aneka Rama FM Bali (Radio AR) based in Denpasar, Bali. Their programs includes music, entertainment, news, quiz and many more. Mr. Rovie as a programmer on the radio and a man who contact me for this website project told me that Radio AR play Dangdut music alot. Dangdut is one of the most popular music genre in Indonesia.

Dangdut Music (sometimes spelled wrong as: Dandut) combines many traditional style of music from many countries including traditional Indonesian music style, music Style from India, music style from the Middle East in general, the Arab countries, styles from India and China and on the top of that all the Modern styles of Europe, USA and Australia all together in style: Dangdut. – source : http://www.dangdut.us/

From the design point of view, Mr. Rovie just want a simple website design with a simple functionality too. He wants the website as a company profile, news and events information. This website is built on Wordpress with some plugins for Photo gallery page and contact page.

When at the first time I try Wordpress, I thought it’s was a dificult framework to work with. Wordpress was born as a blogging platform and I have no idea on how to use it as a company profile or website to make it look like a CMS. Yeah.. that’s is my first Impression for Wordpress, there is a fear for me to look at the code and get lost on it.

I keep trying to do some research to find the right hole for me to enter the mysterious WordPress world at that time. OK, I know how to add a new post, add a page, add an image and how to install new theme, is it enough? the answer is Big NO, I want to dig into it deeper and deeper, and amazingly it’s become more interesting and challenging.

Tutorial-indonesia.com is my personal project, there is nothing to do with business of course. The goal of this website is to collect as much as possible any IT tutorials that use Bahasa Indonesia(Indonesian language) and share them with others.

I also added submission form for visitors, so they can submit their tutorial link to me and I will publish it for them in this website. For the theme I use free wordpress theme and a little modification in it.

Yeah.. it just look like standard blog, but there is something different here, I have create simple rating system plugin and broken link tracking system for this website and it is JQuery and Ajax powered. Its cool i think, at least for me .

Bali Pradnya Tour and Travel is a company founded by several experienced tourism players in Bali and they join each other to create their own company.

The design of the website is simple  and clean, with blue and green on its dominant colors and once again it is a Wordpress powered website. There is not much additional features added, just some plugins for SEO and forms for contact and reservation.

For forms creation, I used CForms contact form because it’s works out of the box.
